This was written for the Australian String Quartet. It is an exploration of the music from their Rapture program and addresses music by Beethoven, Vanessa Perica, Janáček, and Osvaldo Golijov. I provide listening notes for the audience and reflect upon the breadth of emotion string quartets can express. ASQ toured Rapture across Australia in May 2025.
