This was written for the Australian String Quartet. It is an exploration of the music from their Aurora program and addresses music by Haydn, Grieg and Olli Mustonen. I provide listening notes for the audience and reflect upon the composers’ varied sound worlds. ASQ toured Aurora across Australia in October-November 2024.
