This was written for the Australian String Quartet. It is an exploration of the music from their Florescence program and addresses music by Justin Williams, Haydn, Purcell and Dvorak. I provide listening notes for the audience, and delve into how each piece reflects the theme of unfurling or blossoming. ASQ tours Florescence across Australia in July-October 2023.
