i shed my winter skin, scrubbing the sunscreen off each afternoon. i’d forgotten places such as these. it seems we protect ourselves by erasing thoughts for a time, while we are away. i missed this. we swam in the ocean, under and over the blue waves. the sea CAN be this vibrant, i really wasn’t imagining those memories. •

i’m glad to put my summer person on. they like the salt water and the taste of mangoes as juice drips down their chin. 😌☀️🥭
